What can I expect during my shoot?

A typical photo shoot lasts anywhere between one and two hours, and anywhere between 100 and 200  pictures are taken. After the shoot, the pictures are sorted, touched up and returned to you on CD for print selection.

Where does the photoshoot take place?

Generally, I shoot “on location”, which means at a place of your choosing where interesting natural backgrounds can be located.  Except in the case of headshots, these locations are outdoors unless otherwise requested, and use natural light.  I have done photoshoots for clients in backyards, civic parks and gardens, the seaside, national parks, and general downtown areas. Remember, that a per-mile charge applies to distances travelled over 35 miles.

How is a photoshoot set up?

After requesting my services, I consult on the phone with you about the particulars of your shoot; location, wardrobe, and general tone of the shoot are created, discussed, and agreed on by both parties. A time and date is set for the photoshoot, and we go from there!
